空房似水窗紙嘶，風偶影索居如禪。枯坐養疴無事，繪雜花十有二種，每種題小詩一首，聊亦寄意而已，不足以詩畫論也。丙辰(1916)孟陬之月作於京寓，就正雲峰仁兄有道，薛寶辰。鈐印：寶辰之印、關后迂儒

薛寶辰， 陝西長安人，光緒十五年(1889)進士，曾任授翰林院編修、咸安宮總裁。辛亥革命後閉門謝客，晚年篤信佛教，崇尚素食，著有《素食說略》。
